Neo is available in more compact sizes, allowing you to place the instrument more comfortably on your lap. This also gives better access to all tongues while playing. NEO FX models in the unplugged state are no different from the NEO - the same design, the same acoustic sound, the same loudness. But when connected to an amplifier or sound card, you discover entirely new possibilities.
* The convex shape of the hemispheres affects the sound positively, giving it the necessary volume and color
* New, more expensive quality stainless steel. It is thicker and even harder than the previous one. Taking a thicker steel, we were able to achieve better sustain, volume, and sound clarity. The new steel also holds the tuning extremely well and retains it for a long time
* Expanded range of tones. Guda Neo can be tuned in the range of D3 to E5 (the range can be even wider on some scales) This gives the opportunity to use more scales in different keys. New scales for Neo are also available
Using the new steel also allows to get bright high notes and a crisp, tight bass.

This tongue drum has an amazing warm tone, almost like a wooden instrument. Great product.
Amazing sound!
I had no drumming experience, but picked this drum up and it sounds beautiful every time I play it. I use it mainly for relaxation. When I do play it in public, it attracts a lot of interested people that say it drew them in with the melodic sounds.
Nice handcraft work
Sounds clean at different pressures. Many sounds. The drawings are better and more equilibrated around the tongues than in the picture shown. I would like to get some other one based on other scale design and maybe a 2.0 with more than 12 notes. Congratulations :)
